 Whenever a person who does not know much about these wants to adapt it usually feels doubt about it. You might have seen many people asking why do people turn vegan?

This is every parents’ dream that their child consumes nutritious and healthy food, by being a vegan you can be a step closer towards this. You can be healthy and can also contribute to a healthier planet. 

You get all the necessary vitamins from a balanced vegan diet. Such a diet usually includes fruits, vegetables, pulses, grains, nuts, and seeds. This plant-based food even has fewer saturated fatty acids which makes them more beneficial and healthy alternatives. 

In a German study conducted for 11 years, it was found that 800 vegetarian men found that they are at lower risk of cancers than non-vegetarians. 

Eating a vegan diet also reduces the risk of having type 2 diabetes by up to 78%. Vegans even have lower blood sugar levels as compared to others.

It boosts physical and mental health

Studies suggest that vegans usually stay happier than non-vegans. They are believed to be more compassionate about life and have a better score in depression tests and mood profiles.

Since a vegan diet has lower calories as compared to animal-based food, they help to achieve healthy body weight faster. Vegan food is good for the skin as it is loaded with antioxidants and vitamins. 

Apart from these benefits, it is good for our environment. It helps stop animal cruelty. Fewer animals have to suffer and die in a slaughterhouse if you just decide and turn a vegan. Being a vegan really makes a difference
